I'm channeling Fall's animal prints tonight. Romney has me fired up and I'm about to pounce! Like a wild leopard, in my new Mcqueen leopard scarf! This kitty's got her claws out.

Watch Out
In keeping with the house of Burberry, it's only fitting I would find a watch from their new collection that I have come to instantly covet. Which is saying a lot as I am not at all a watch person. While I admire them greatly, I have never been one for the dawning. Something about breaking up the length of my arm with a clunky, bulky object at the wrist is a miss for me. It's like shoes with ankle straps -- we ladies must be careful not to interrupt our lines. With that said, The Britain may have me reconsider my lady ways.

Mission Complete
Shock treatment administered. Thank you Burberry, you never let me down. Orders placed, and I even found a fox tee too. The Owl will need company, no? Hoot!

Transitionally Challenged
Even though it's 45 degrees, rainy and I smell fires from chimney's down the street, I can't do it. With Spring 2013 marching down the Paris runways, I find myself unable to transition my closet over to Fall. Someone needs to give me shock treatment with a really fabulous fur coat, or something. Because right now, all I want is Fendi RTW. (Vogue)

Made In The USA
Happy fourth of July my fellow American fashionistas. Have a great time parading, cooking out with your various meats, setting off small explosives in your backyard and fumbling through the Star Spangled Banner. Which I actually determined I know quite well when tested by my niece and nephew the other day. Props. And of course in all you do, do it in some serious stars and stripes, red, white and blue, all-americana patriotic style. I'm cheating a little bit by daring to dawn my new shades that though red, are not American made. Something tells me I'll still make our country proud, I mean I'm made here at least. Woot!

Holy Hell
It's 98 degrees and this is no time to be messing around with your fashion. Be practical -- hot temps call for easy duds. Throw on whatever feels comfortable and breathable. Is that a word? Who cares. My go to's are James Perse and Spendid cottons. The two here are in my closet currently and avail for purchase here (#4) and here. Get cool peeps!

Suitable For Sun
Today I got to have a quick love fest with one of my bestie's babes. Let me tell you straight up -- these are two of the cutest nugs in the land. Full of personality, sass and style. Both were working some lizziecoleman approved footwear - pink sparkly flops on Layla (4 going on who knows what) and aqua/orange Adidas sneaks on Alex (3). They were headed to the beach and as I hugged them good bye, I whispered to Layla to have fun, rock a cute "bu-kini" and wear sunscreen. She seemed to track with the first two points, but not the latter. She'll get there. For my adult friends who are already there, check out these options from Mara Hoffman. Pending what suits your fancy, you can cover up with her caftan or lather up in some serious SPF 30 and this bikini. I like em' both.

Mixer
Some of my most favorite bracelets can always be found at Calypso and their latest Summer collection of goodness did not disappoint. When in Phoenix last month, my bestie, goddaughter and I all got friendship bracelets. Or as my goddaughter calls them for short and in code "FB's". Today I mixed my Pave, my Gold wrap, my Love and my Beauty charm. All collected at different times and places. Calypso always being a go-to. Happy Thursday night everyone.

F' It
It's just that kind of day. Be free, have fun, take in the summer weather and f' it all. And get some of these cute espadrilles. I just did. Such a great throw back. They make me happy. (Graffiti art from last trip to San Fran, downtown on Market Street)
